Hello, so happy you stopped by! It’s nice to meet you. My name is Gena G and I’m a portrait photographer currently based in a small Texas town called D’Hanis. Over the last decade, I was building my photography business in Los Angeles, where I had the opportunity to train under my mentor Sue Bryce, a distinguished portrait photographer, respected in the photography industry...all the while cultivating my own unique style. I moved to the angel city with hopes & dreams to discover who I was meant to be...and it was there that my dreams started to become reality & my passion for photography blossomed. I absolutely loved my LA adventure, but Texas always had my heart & I'm happy to be back!

 

I’ve been doing photography for some time now. I used to dream about being a portrait photographer ever since my mom gave me a Barbie Polaroid camera for my 8th birthday…it’s been a love affair ever since! I specialize in photographing women, but I love all forms of portraiture. It is my true calling in life!

 

My aspiration as a portrait photographer is for my clients to embrace what makes them unique, and to love all of their perfect imperfections. This experience is about celebrating your life, having a blast while not taking yourself too seriously and allowing your true personality to shine through so we can capture it on camera. My wish for the future is that you’ll look back at your photos many years from now & remember this milestone in your life fondly…it’s such a cool way to see how far you’ve come!
